In the past 5 years, more than 30 projects including Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of China, China-EU international cooperation projects have been undertaken, with funding of more than 30 million RMB. 5 projects received provincial level and ministerial level Technology Advancement Award. 5 projects received the other awards. 15 patents have been authorized. Some original and distinctive results have been achieved in some areas, such as: Environmental Biotechnology, Environment and safety detection technology, Solid waste disposal and resource recovery.

In the past 5 years, 11 vertical projects including national, provincial (ministerial) and City, departmental-level projects, and more than 20 horizontal projects have been undertaken, with funding of more than 3 million RMB. 2 projects received provincial level and ministerial level Technology Advancement Award. 13 patents have been authorized. 5 books and textbooks have been published and more than 210 papers have been published. Some distinctive results have been achieved in some areas, such as: Water pollution control and water resources protection, Soil pollution control mechanism and restoration, Environmental monitoring and control.

Safety Engineering
4 professors, 3 associate professors, 5 master’s tutors.
In the past 5 years, more than 40 projects including provincial (ministerial) -level and above projects have been undertaken, with funding of more than 4 million RMB. 3 projects received provincial level and ministerial level Technology Advancement Award. 5 patents have been authorized, and more than 180 papers have been published. Main research areas and directions: Chemical safety technology and control, Chemical industry and city fire control technology, Chemical process safety monitoring and control technology, Oil and gas storage and transportation security technology,Water resources security technology.
