Environmental Engineering
The objective is to cultivate senior engineering technicians who are capable of applying the practical knowledge to technical problems and working on planning, designing, management, teaching and scientific research of environmental engineering in the institute of environmental science, the department of environmental protection management and environmental protection industries or kinds of academies or universities. The undergraduates cultivated will acquire a comprehensive knowledge of pollution control (water, air, noise, solid waste), and water supply and sewerage engineering, water pollution control engineering and water resource protection after the study of physical chemistry, engineering drawing, microbiology, hydraulics, environmental monitoring, treatment and disposal of solid waste, air pollution control, etc.
Environmental Science
The objective is to cultivate senior technicians with a solid theoretical basis in the field of environment science who are capable of working on environmental science research and environmental management, solving the scientific problems in environmental projects in the department of environmental protection, chemical industry, light industry, energy, medicine, as well as kinds of academies and universities. The undergraduates will acquire the basic principle and technology on environmental protection and improvement, environmental pollution prevention and control theory and technology as well as the theory and application of environmental biological technology after a systematical study of basic theory and principle on environmental planning and management, environmental chemistry, environmental biology and ecology, environmental engineering, environmental economics, environmental law, etc.
Safety Engineering
The objective is to cultivate senior technicians on safety engineering and management in enterprises and institutions. The graduates could work on the safety management and supervision, research and development of safety technology, safety engineering design and construction in public service department like government, transportation, fire, first aid; the risk analysis, compensation, safety evaluation in the department of finance, insurance, information management, etc.; the teaching and scientific research in institutes and academies.
Water Supply and Sewerage Engineering
The objective is to cultivate senior engineering technicians who are capable of working on the planning, design, construction, management, education, research and development work of the water supply and sewerage in the department of planning, public utility, municipal construction and management, environmental protection，large and medium-sized industrial enterprises, real estate company, as well as scientific research and teaching in institutes and academies. The undergraduates will acquire a comprehensive knowledge of city water supply and sewerage engineering, building water supply and sewerage engineering, industrial water supply and sewerage engineering, control and planning of water pollution, water resources protection after the study of engineering drawing, microbiology, hydraulics, building water supply and sewerage, water quality engineering, water engineering construction, water supply and sewerage pipeline project.
Civil Engineering
The object is to cultivate senior civil engineering technicians who are capable of working on the teaching and research work of civil engineering in academies and universities and the design, construction, management, research, supervision, investment and development in government department or other enterprises and institutes with a solid and comprehensive theory basis, systematic specialized knowledge, as well as excellent practical ability. The graduate cultivated will systematically acquire the basic knowledge and skills of design theory and method of all kinds of structures in civil engineering, surveying, design and processing of various types of rock- soil and foundation engineering, modern construction technology and management.
Project Management
The objective is to cultivate versatile senior managerial talents who are capable of working on the project decision-making, planning and designing, tender offer and whole process management in large-scale construction enterprise, general contractor enterprise, real estate development company, international economic cooperation enterprise, engineering consultation and evaluation company, construction unit ,bank, government departments, scientific and teaching academies or universities. The undergraduates will acquire a basic knowledge and theories on civil engineering, management, economy, etc., as well as the basic skills in project approachment and decision-making, investment control, bidding, and whole project management after a systematical study of four modules, namely management science, economics, civil engineering, laws and regulations on construction. The subject is featured with the training of a whole project management and the cultivation of registered supervision engineers, cost engineers, real estate brokers, real estate valuers, registered architects, and registered consulting engineer.
